Recently, we had the privilege of gathering together, not just to create, but to connect, to slow down, and to remember what it truly means to be present. Through the gentle art of quilling, we were invited into a space of stillness and intention.
Learning this firsthand through Anna Pon’s journey made it even more meaningful. Just as her husband was hospitalized, she found herself in the waiting room and quilling became rediscovered. In those quiet, in between moments, she returned to quilling, transforming stillness into beauty, and pain into purpose. What started as a personal refuge has now become something she shares with others, creating space for healing, creativity, and connection.
And this is what it means to be a creator within Compassionate Hearts. To create is not just to make something beautiful, it is to be a part of something bigger than yourself. Through every gathering, every piece of art, every moment shared, you are helping build a bridge between creativity and compassion. You are a part of a community that meets, connects, creates, and ultimately serves a purpose far beyond what we can see.
Project Update – Hope for a Child Education Program
We are deeply grateful to share a powerful milestone from our Hope for a Child Education Program. Through a new partnership with Wisdom Gate Nursery and Primary School, 25 vulnerable children now have their school fees fully supported for the entire academic year. When we first visited, these children had been sent home due to unpaid fees, uncertain if or when they would return. But because of your commitment and generosity, their story changed immediately.
They are now back in school! Learning. Growing. Stepping into a future filled with hope.
As we look ahead, the need remains great, but so does the opportunity. Our vision is to support 100 children this year, and we know this is possible because of a community like you.
