Thanks to your generosity, our first fundraiser on Nov 15 raised $550 and collected 3,000+ lbs of household items and clothing to support families in Northern Uganda.
Even more exciting – the event helped spread the word about Compassionate Hearts’ mission and welcomed enthusiastic new volunteers ready to support our efforts.
Our goal for this fundraiser is $1,000, and thanks to you, we’re already halfway there! Every dollar brings us closer to equipping 1,500 farmers with the tools they need to grow and build stronger communities.

From Hopelessness to Hope: Auma’s Story
At just 16 years old, Auma Gladys has carried responsibilities no young girl should ever bear. After losing her father as a baby and growing up in deep poverty, she was forced to leave school.
Today, thanks to your support, her story is changing. Through the Project Hope for the Girl Child Education Program at Compassionate Hearts, Gladys is learning tailoring and garment cutting, skills that will help her earn a living, support her child, and build a brighter future.
I am very happy and hopeful for a brighter future. Compassionate Hearts has restored hope and dignity to me and my family. My mother is overjoyed to see me in school. I pray that one day I can help other girls going through the same struggles. Auma Gladys

Growing Hope in Northern Uganda
Our ministry in Northern Uganda continues to grow – and partners like you are a vital part of this progress. This month, participant orientation began across our partner churches, supported by new volunteers Patrick and Raymond.
Each church has nominated 10 vulnerable families, with two children supported per family. These families meet weekly for Bible study and Missional Discipleship, building both faith and community – all made possible by your partnership.
Patrick, an agronomist, and Raymond, a social worker, go to extraordinary lengths to reach families, even in remote areas.
Here’s a video that shows them using a bridge to meet the families, highlighting the challenges they overcome to connect with every household. Together, we are helping families engage in three key programs:
